Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Jr.March 13 Fight

The most awaited Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight’s tentative date is March 13, 2010. This is what Promoter Bob Arum said as he flew to the Manila recently. The contract was agreed upon by the representative of Mayweather but the boxer himself is yet to say yes to.

The Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight was originally set on May 2010 but with the former running for congress, the fight had to be done in March instead. We are all looking forward to a press conference very soon. If ever the fight on March will push through, presscon should be in Jan. 11.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

After Manny Pacquiao’s (Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao) celebrated victory over Miguel Cotto’s fight last November 15, 2009, what the fans are eager to know now is if his next fight will be against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Manny was asked right after the fight and his straight answer was the fight against Miguel Cotto is not easy, so for now what he is looking forward to is going home and spend quality time with his family. 

Meanwhile, while we all await for Pacquiao’s fight against Mayweather Jr., let us get to know more about these two great boxers.
Manny Pacquiao, a Filipino professional boxer was born on December 17, 1978, currently the champion both for WBO welterweight, IBO and light welterweight division. He holds the title for being the No.1 Pound for Pound Boxer in the World. He is the lone boxer of all time who has bagged seven world titles in seven different weight divisions.
Floyd Joy Mayweather, Jr., an American professional boxer was born on February 24, 1977. Son of a former welterweight boxer, Floyd Mayweather, Sr. He holds six world boxing championships in five different weight divisions.

If ever the fight of Manny Pacquiao against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. pushes through, this is going to be an even bigger event, given that the latter is an undefeated boxing champion.
